Tony Quoc-Dung Tran is a fashion photographer. Elegance and romantic motifs characterise his style.
Born in Vevey, Switzerland in 1992 to Vietnamese parents, Tony’s interest emerged in regards to the arts when his parents encouraged him to partake in piano. This creative curiosity flourished when he joined dance school in 2006, particularly due to the exceptional artistic expressions a human body in motion can exhibit. Though, he was engaged in studying computer science and later law in university, Tony decided to relocate to London in 2015 to dabble in photography. He gained his first experience in fashion by working as a photographic assistant to Paulina Surys, which he was introduced to by his friend and model Becky Strauch. During his first trip to New York City, Tony met model Jean Chang, together they produced a story, which got Tony his first publication and, foremost, the images were featured on i-D Mexico. Tony shot a few more stories and one of his portrait of Mary Wang found its way to Vogue Netherlands. When he returned to London, he decided to pursue fashion photography full-time.
